Why did you do this? It looks stupid when you have guys running in summer gear and summer hats in SF pipeline. And when you die the body suddenly transforms into the correct snow uniform with snow helmets.

Is it possible to get a custom resolution of 1440x1080 and alt fire keybinds to stick instead of them reseting on each restart? It's unplayable now, can't bother with configuring the game every time.

When playing the normal way, the way the game was intended to be played it won't happen ;)
The game devs intended that players can leave equipment for each other. Now if you pick up 2 extra nades given to you by teammates you will get slaughtered by hackhunter. That's not okay at all.

In weapons cache for example its a common tactic to leave the primary cache defenders some extra nades, but the hack protection kicks them for picking the nades up. That should be fixed, it's really lame.

Yesterday my server was tracking fine, but when I started it today it's not tracking at all. Is it because I turned off the DG hunter protection? IP and all other settings are same exact as yesterday, I don't get it...

+1 for removing the whole mAAp thing.  ;D we have enough maps in AA2, and those maps are fit for CS not AA.

Can you do this little trick for servers? Only a couple of admins do the switch from NetServerMaxTickrate=20 to 35 in server.ini, that's some age old optimization for 2002 server hardware. Hit detection is a lot better at 35 tickrate.

When you say weapon model, do you mean the way the weapon looks when you zoom in?
no, the normal unzoomed view. In 4:3 you see the weapon stock held firmly against your shoulder instead of your cheek...

I think I found a better solution. How is this guy playing at ultra widescreen resolution, same top/bottom fov and no fisheye?

If the game though it was 4:3 everything would be out of perspective, everyone would look fat LOL.
No.. the weapon model fov which doesnt adjust with the fov command. If the weapon 3D model was like in 4:3 it would look correct.

You can't move the weapon up into the middle of the screen, it would look stupid. The game moves it down like that so it is not blocking your view.

The weapon fov funtions are the FOV you get when you pull up the sights
are you sure there's not any way of making the game think its a 4:3 resolution for example?

How do you see less scope effect with a larger value FOV? I see a crap ton more scope effect with larger FOV.
Because the vertical fov is exactly the same. You just see more on sides.
