As rain said, players online means nothing. Some people sometimes leave assist open. I know I've done it a few times, albeit accidentally.
I had the best gaming night in probably ~2 years recently w/ 26 players on hospital; just decided to start assist again after being off for ages and bam! full server, no UA
I am not sure why people aren't playing early anymore but we've had a good late night crew going

Kind of ironic for a game funded by the US Army. :)
Europeans have always been by far the largest demographic that plays AA. At least since the official auth shutdown. Assist wouldn't even exist without them. This is partly due to PC gaming historically being much bigger over in Europe than it was here in North America.

It seems us Euro players are the only group that actually WANT to play, and I can't get on early enought to join them. :(
I'm getting pretty tired of asking for maps, not getting any answers, I then have to guess what map people want then a few says 'oh fucking shit maps' and rage..... Either they rage or they just watch the server list waiting for 'a good map', whatever the fuck a good map is, I have no idea..... Really makes the game so boring
I really wish I could have the time to play when the Euro players are on, but I just can't get on early enough.... :(
Really Gunny if you have spare time during day or eve hours jump in server, I dont know your time zone, but central time at 4-5pm server is always almost full, That is 10 -11pm your time

Here's an idea. People join, then the server will be full. If people don't join then the server is empty. It's rocket sience, it seems.
Why don't people just join..... I ask wahy map people want, no fucking answer, then they just rage quit. I might as well leave.......
