AA3_Alley bugs and glitches

"Magic" glass, similar to the one from the door in the entrance on Hospital.





Something odd, portal zone info mess?



2 in one, in the pic i'm sitting on a handy camping place wire laundry which you can't see even in 1st person camera, looking from that side (on the other side it's visible). Easy to reach. Fixed -Killa


I also happened to get stuck in one of the stores showcases, it was the one close to the corner with a few mannequins in it (i don't have a pic of it tho). You can also reach or jump on several trees, but you might end up stuck. Fixed -Killa

I fixed everything but the revolving door bugs.

After messing with it for almost 2 hours I can't seem to get it to work right. Spanky and I are out of ideas. Might have to replace it with something simpler. I'll wait to see if Eliz can come up with anything.

I might have spoken a bit too soon, but the good news I've managed to hide 50K polys when standing in the middle of the road.

I've found the issue, there were Antiportal actors covering some of the windows, and also half of the Swinging doors on the hotel.

I also noticed some other things around that are probably missing or misplaced/duplicated, dunno if you can be bothered by em cause they`re mostly on areas you cant access (e.g. rooftops). Also, I`m not sure if you`re supposed to be able to get on top of plenty of things like those trees or some balcony around the respawn as much as some interior corners (i remember of a stair with an handrail on the side, you`re able to jump on it and then almost get ontop of the door entrance).

is it possible to fix other guns on aao3 maps?

impact,alley and shantytown thats very nice short maps and very better to play with burst and ar guns not sf.

maybe you can start vote for this and we will see what the most player saying..

and nice job with new assist and aao3 maps!!!!

There was 2 issues

1) smoke/emitters didn't show
2) stuff disappearing when looking though some of the glass.

Solution
1) use a finalblend instead of a Texture, you get some additional Z options.
2)  There was an Antiportal that covered some of the door, I fixed that.

I actually tried replace the texture with a final blend but it didn't seem to work. I'm not sure how I missed the anti portal though. :P

Check the ztest and zwrite variables on the map on DB, that is what makes it work.

How did you get the old Radar Compass in you hud?

He's playing offline. The SAI is, and has been, a server mod.
