I never explicitly stated that, therefore I was not breaking the rule. However, the other rule, rule #8, was the rule you were breaking.

I'll restate it here, since you obviously forgot it.
Rule #8: "VIII. Any post containing a statement of fact (without clear sarcastic intent) should be backed up by creditable source citations; otherwise, a moderator/administrator may remove the post at his/her discretion."
