Alternate download for Assist
« on: Tuesday, January 20, 2015, 17:07:17 PM »
Due to the occasional problems with SourceForge (where Assist's downloads are hosted) I've compressed the entire current installation for Assist for those that are having issues. Please use the regular download link if you can, instead of this one. I will keep this download updated to the latest version whenever we release updates.

For an easier newbie experience, I created an all-in-one setup using NSIS that contains America's Army 2.5 + Assist 8.21. It lets you choose the installation directory and then creates optional shortcuts in the start menu and on the desktop. The "license agreement" screen points new players to the working registration page.

I hope that setup streamlines the process a bit to encourage new players. This site's Getting Started guide (as well as the Assist client) still directs players to Battletracker, so someone should update that!
