It depends on what your definition of a server mod is. In my opinion installing any kind of software that changes the game, as it was originally designed by the game developers, in any way is a server mod.

Some other poeple define a servermod only as a servermod when it changes the gameplay.

In my definition everyone that is currenlty having a server that runs the 25assist has a servermod.  which would make this vote pointless because the tracking system becomes useless if no one is tracked, or when they all are banned.

Another points that i would like to make is that no matter how hard you try to ban a servermod. they will always find a way to bypass it.

I believe this was also discussed earlier somewhere on these forums. If I remember correctly, it was said that they still need tracker to track honor at least, if not anything else. Making they're own system for this would, of course, be possible, but would require quite a lot of coding.

Now you might argue, that honor isn't important either and you'd be right to some extent, but honor is still a sense of accomplishment and high honor still shows you've been around for quite some time. All in all I'm pretty sure you'd have far more people complaining about losing their honor "stats" then there would over the kills stats.

I dont see this poll represent all players. For now only 65 votes. We have more than a 500 active players.
Best Score when playing a game is satisfaction, no score = no fun.
People will leaving, no more people = no donation. AA2.5 assist  = DEAD!.

This game now is a AA community, not developer.

We need to be growing community not killing it even more with too many rules, Make stronger guidelines for servers and maybe first focus on a better anti cheat before doing anything.

Eventually the AAO25 project was founded to keep a great tactical game alive.
If we wanted to play a fun-shooter we just as well could have moved to one of the hundreds out there.


As it is now, this game is a shadow of his former self....

mods will have to wait till ELiZ come back from his 2nd vacation lol, as he had focus mainly in 2.8.5 stuff, he did not looked into this yet.

Looks like the Mod-discussion is raised to a new level.
I just got kicked and permanent-banned (via admin console) from the PUF/Kauto modded border after playing one round.

Seems to be some guys are unable to handle criticism.

Well, as far as I'm concerned he will have to handle this critique.

BTW:
English isn't my native language as well and I know it is far from being good, but there is a difference between making efforts and just copy/paste text to and from a translation tool.

You open the console and type afc (afc stands for Admin Force Class). This will then give you a weapon code to put after the command. For example, to force class an RPG would be afc rpg, an M4/SF is afc sf, etc. Everything else like to change the round time, change the map, ban/kick people, you'd press F12 for the admin panel. :)
