How to interpret pb screenshots from assist server?
« on: Wednesday, July 10, 2013, 10:21:11 AM »
Hi. I wonder if there is a (simple, I'm not very good at those things) tutorial on how to look at pb screen shots. I looked a few times at the screen shots taken on my own assist server, but I don't know where to look for, or what it all means.

Well, do you know what AA looks like as far as the GUI? Do you know what certain maps look like (fog, lighting, etc...)?

If yes, then you know what to look for.

OK, thats quite simple. So, if somebody has a totally pink screen shot there is something fishy? Sorry for asking again, but I want to be sure. (I have an anonymous png file made, but i don't know how to insert it. Sorry, I'm a forum NOOB...)

If you're looking for few example of clean/dirty screen comparison you might find them at the ACI AA2 section PBSS, forum archives.

All right, I can see what you mean. Thanks a lot. Eh, btw: how can I force my server to make full screen screen shots?

here are some samples what to look out for, but it's unlikely you will ever see them unless there a complete moron , since there's screen shot blockers such as pink screen shots are also known as ss blockers, yes windows 8 also provides pink ss back, so that's a judgement call there

if we use SS rate 2, Linux and maybe Mac players will generate black screen shots.
as we can know who is a Linux/Mac palyer, we should use other ss rate :)
