Stupid, moronic, entitled, imbecilic, people who believe in our education system, believe religion helps others, loves ads, extorts others while studying law, sending brave soldiers into combat to see horrors beyond their imagination because they studied law, watch Fox news, Play AA3, practice social bigotry while listing to rap remixes of country music while celebrating the class system that does indeed exist, who cancel good shows like Firefly, have small dogs and cats, who shop at Walmart and have more money than me, enjoy high gas prices, can't spell imbeciles correctly, makes sure things are made in China, support PITA and praise the idea that Twilight is anything short of verbal vomit, watch ghost documentaries, and ensure that decently-priced items come from China. Oh yeah, and that asshole that tangles up your headphone wires when you're not looking and gets them caught under your chair wheel.

I can basically sum this up as "You're crazy, therefore I'm correct." Even if you are correct, trying to make an ass out of someone isn't going to prove your point. In addition, not everything Grapes has said was necessarily wrong, it just wasn't presented well. There are problems in the US, but the real debate should be about how bad it really is. He can say it's shit all he want's, but he doesn't know what shit is.

I choose to believe in thing that are backed by facts, things that have been proven right. If you want to believe in made up things that may or may not be true then go ahead, but that's not a healthy way to live. I can't prove that there isn't an invisible pink pony following me around everywhere, so should I start telling everyone that it's real? No, because it defies common sense, and so does a lot of the crazy theories in this thread. If there isn't any facts to back it up, it's a waste of time and not worth believing in.

Well, yes, the default position in any argument in which a claim is made is not to believe it until it is proven. Just try and argue that with any Christian and out comes special pleading, strawmanning, and pretty much every fallacy they can get their hands on.

No, it's wrong because it isn't based on facts. Any assumption not based on facts is useless. Nothing Grapes and Archi have been saying has any hint of truth to it or facts to back it up, yet they act as though it does.

And if simply pointing out someone was wrong made you right, we'd have politicians that prepare for their careers by studying law--wait a minute...People who practice how to bullshit other people in matters over their heads are in. It's not what you see, it's what you don't.

MothaGoosE, this is a wild discussion with a lot of opinions. I think it's a good discussion because at least it gets ideas flowing and gets people thinking, right or wrong. I think the moral of this discussion is that there's so much shit fucked up in the country and the world that it's probably best to just ignore it all and live your life how you want as things will go to hell likely after you die so what does it matter anyway.

Understood, however if the argument degrades into argument by verbosity and from ignorance, it's just going to turn into who can fling the most shit the farthest. True arguments are a learning experience for all parties involved.
