oh sorry.
reading the logfile today will not give me a answer, who was realy playing where and when (only incoming user..).
my wish would be to have some informations/log-entries about:
- admin messages (with timestamp)
- admin commands (with timestamp)
- player messages (with timestamp)

i would be able then to see, what was going on through the whole day and night on my servers.
i could see, witch player was kicked or banned from witch admin, for example.

at the moment, there are a lot of entries, witch do not say realy much about, whats going on in there.
just as a wish, like as it was on 2.8.5 - switching on/off player messages, system messages, admin messages.

After new release, it would be very nice to have some more informations about talking tasks in the logfiles.

thats the problem with your server not listed in browser as a honor and aa25assist server.
dont start it as normal as before aa25assist was new released.
delete all of them, install aa25assist, go server section and configure your server over gui and  server.ini. then start server over aa25assist - and i am sure - everything will work fine then, including honors :)

oh men!!
please leave it like it is - thats why the most players do not switch to another game like aa3 or bf3.
i tried out all of them and i would say nice, BUT
- i play aa2 because i love it like it is - easy, and not to much pump in so the player is in front and not the technic
- i like to play without to much sound - run and fight. and not to camp and to listen where could come now...
- there are so many maps already on the regular aa2, i never played them all - and i am in since the first step of aa2
but thank you anyway for all the good ideas and solutions with aa25assist and honor and auth.
you see, we could recruit some of the "old" players again - i mean brought them back to aa2.
dont oversize it - therefore we could play aa3, no ?

it tried it last night, but
1. had not a full server
2. most of the existing maps are limited to max. 26 slots - so players would been set in a waiting/spectactor mode....
3. why should we have more then 26 players on a server - at the moment, i never saw over 70 players in same time
4. i d'rather have 10 servers with 10 different maps and some player on it, then 1 server with 100 players and only 1 map

i will test it.

there were last night 26 players on my server - and the cpu was almost idle (10%).
and - sorry jonny :-) - its win7 64b with a intel i7 quadcore with 2. GHz each (virtual 8 cores), 8 GB ram and SS-Device and internet bandwith 2/20mb.

so this could not be the problem. i guess it will work :)

btw:
you can change your settings within the user.ini - so every key you wish to program can be done there, right?
i came down from 2.8.5 and it tried a bit for my optimized config. now i am almost happy :)

ps: exept there is no way to open all weapon slots - not good :(
