The forum in the link provided simply doesn't work. I fill in the exact same username as I use to login to Assist. The exact same password. Still sas, invalid username, wrong password...

I was looking for a BCD announcement on the BCD forum. Silly me. 

And please don't act like you're my mother in the shoutbox. No permission? Where do you see me starting a new BCD? You have to stop with these degrading and impulsive replies. I checked this forum every day ( and yes, not all topics, but only bcd forum )  and I didn't find a topic. That's the only reason why I asked if it's ok that I create an announcement for tomorrow.

So i'm sorry I missed the news. I will check all the unread topics in the future and not the one forum I thaught that was created for BCD announcements...

I waited untill someone took some innitiative, but since it didn't happen...

If it's ok by the players here, I'm just going to pick 4 random maps ( I wil use random.org ) that haven't been selected yet. And for me it's ok that there is no "boss" or "host" or whatever. Let's just join and play together, and have a good time.

I need an "OK" from a few BCD admins and I'll make the announcement today and prepare the servers for tomorrow. I will need a reply fast, because it's already saterday.

Could you please send me or another BCD admin some instructions in how to continue without you.
I agree with Ganja. This doesn't have to stop for months just because one admin wants to take a break.

Sorry I didn't have the time to play lately, got some importants stuff to handle right now. But I do hope you just don't quit on us

Do keep in mind, you will get a lot more support if you find a way to organize everything on this forum and not on a sepperate one.

The four mentioned maps has been distributed to all Servers/Clients

I mentioned this before. You guys should really think about creating topics and news items when you fix things. It can't be hard to create a topic in the private forums and add fixes to a list. And when you update assist, just copy/paste that list as a release-log. I'm sure you guys would get a lot of apprication for all the hard work you put in to this game. Now, most players don't know what get fixed unless they browse all topics every week.

Less clicking = better. People don't even like coming to this site let alone hunting through links to find information. It needs to be as direct as possible.

Let's work something out, really. Maybe I can give you FTP access to a folder and do some redirecting to put the events page there. Then what else do you need, MySQL database?

Just do your thing Spanky. You clearly don't trust me. You could have tried with a subdomain and see how I managed it. If i did anything rong, the redirect could have been disabled in a mather of minutes. Instead a new page got added and nobody has done anythign with it since it's online.

Good look. I wish you a lot of succes with it. I mean it. Like i sad many times before. "Power" or "controll" is not what I want. I want an active AA community that plays more then hospital and pipeline.

I was already adding accounts for the calendar, but there is no point to keep on working at this...

It was the only time in the week that i had time for it. I have to be sure that I can be online for 3 hours. And I was planning on joining your server after 9:30 this everning, but I did not see an extraction server this evening.

And I did not look for my own I renamed the server, there was nothing PAM related on it. If you had joined, you would have noticed that you and other BCD admins had admin rights on the server. I also clearly posted that I would join your server at 9:30, I didn't know that SF Extraction night doesn't run for more then an hour. I thaught you guys really played for hours on Extraction avery Thursday.

I talked to you on teamspeak and I think we can both agree on this. When somebody comes up with an idea, there is no support, only negative feedback. So yeah, I'm closing the calendar and I'm looking forward to what the Assist admins come up with in order to make it a succes.

It's impossible to do anything in this community without pissing of multiple community-members. I'll just keep on supporting BCD, hoping that this also didn't get discontinued...

And I really don't want this topic to become another fight between players. There is already enough of that in the shoutbox. Topic closed.
