lucky for me i worked on 3DMAX in the past.

So. i will be adding to Hoorah Gaming Any and all Tutorials for Editing Americas Army. found online.

But i wanted your thought's on the fact that i think not just anyone should be allowed to gain access to the tools downloads and files & Tutorials we will have for view..

So i ask should i make this a Private area or open to the public?

might there be other issue your not telling me? was the chat server you guys using not good enuff for the job? what was being used to display the chat?

IRC, FLASH CHAT, JAVA>?

The best Choice would be IRC with IRC you can have MODS watching the chat system. and also creating scripts to auto ban players if they get out of hand.

Just wondering.

Hopefully its not a shout box like Skrewup keeps saying.. shout boxes = fail. not real time.

Or you could have asked a clan waiting in the lobby/chat hey you want to scrim? and that clan member that is in lobby lets a shout in TS YO!!!!!!!! i Got a scrim get out the games your in...

i See your Point guys but i'm going off experiences with other Game Service's that had at Server launch it's chat systems.. to get a match going on the fly was very easy... not running around forums and other clan sites to do it...

i mean sure the last try had its spam problem but i think that it can be fixed by offering a nice ban for 30 mins or loss of honor Points for repeat offenders =)

But a true "Game Service" always has it's chat System and from the look's of it.. 25Assist is a very good "Game Service". With or with out the chat System but having one is a +

I know that Assist Already had a chat but was took out cause of spam...

But! the reason i think it should be put back with a few tweaks is for Growth of the 2.5 Community.

what i think it will do adding it back.

Clans! Recruitment
Scrims! vs teams
Live Support by other members for newbies that need help with Assist
as well to gather Intel from players as they talk about Assist & 2.5
News & Update Notification live.. to all players in Lobby

Few ways to control spam is to place a chat block/ban when caught.. for flooding after 4 of the same lines under a min.

Just a Thought.

Love it. Looks Very nice and clean.

But the bloom would be a + but i understand your concerns with it.. and the fact that it might lag..

if your going to do some beta testing with bloom... let me know.. i will roll with you.

i was thinking about the punk buster MD5 Problems that might cause Problems from a custom map. guessing here if i use textures already known within PB i should be ok right?

Or is each map known by file size and name for each map by PB?

well i'm well behind so! i will work on learning the way the editor works now.. seems like i will be working with a already made map just to learn how things move around in this editor and how to call tools and so on! yes i would like to see some SS of the Pipeline.

right now just in the editor learning how to select objects drag them around delete, copy past and so on.

Not a problem.

I made many Maps for UBI- Ghost Recon using 3DMax i'm O.k when it comes to making sure its glitch free and also not too big or too small.

My style is Urban maps. not too much into the tropical, open land style maps.

once i learn the functions of this editor i should be good too go.
My Hope was i get to work on the 2.4 editor so i wont have to worrie about porting it.. since i do want to test my self via lan.

Trust me i don't want to put junk out for anyone to play... i seen some of the mAAp maps.. and i have to say... we do need more new maps to add to the community..

btw good work that map the screen shot shows you have taken time to learn this editor and well it wont be long till we see your full map it's my guess??
