Why was Ganja banned?

But I wont, as I don't want to discourage people from coming back to the game. Unfortunately I have to admit 100 people playing pipe is better for the 2.5 user base, than 5 playing ranch.

You're right in the sense that Smoke did have -220 ROE at 17:12 GMT that day. But He had played a couple of hours that day since some time before 10 GMT and that's the only ROE he ever got. That's hardly offensive.

The same with Mr.Slon. He had -179 about 40 seconds later, but even though he does sometimes get ROE, 95% of his rounds are still ROE free and I would hardly call that offensive either.

All I can say is that both of them TKed someone in a rapid succession, but it does seem to only have happened once.

That just means I'm not as good at Tking as they are then - they can clearly turn and shoot at teammates rapidly to keep their ROE down, when I shot Mr Slon I didn't turn around rapidly in order to do so, so my ROE spiked.

And people TKing at spawn before you can move is usually an accident. People press the fire button for some reason. It might be because they've got AA running in a window and they see the round starting and are switching to AA, it might be another reason, but it's rarely intentional.

Not in this instance - the guy was not directly behind me for one thing, second, he left the server immediately after TKing me, then returned to join the opposite team, did not apologise or say anything otherwise. That sort of thing may happen to you, but I can rarely think of instances where this a plausible explanation for random TKs. Not that I'm overly fussed.

I wasn't trying to tk the whole team silly boy - I shot at Mr Slon, (which yes, helps my cause in no way). I'd sure like to know what I said that provoked you though. Seems like you deliberately TKed me in successive rounds, to end the set of rounds, so you could replace me as you didn't want to follow my strategy.

Hmm, it would be interesting to see how other people would react in that situation, being subjected to opportunistic abuse like that. I have to say I found this a particularly unpleasant situation. Funny you should say about swapping vip - I did in fact say that I wanted vip for a few more rounds only - just go with my strategy.

Trust me, I have been TKed unprovoked quite a few times (not by misfire) and never been overly fussed about it. In fact on saturday in water treatment a guy just shot me dead at the start of the round, and I swear to god, I did not say a word or act in anyway to provoke it.

Anyway, it seems like the jury has spoken - thanks for giving my request serious consideration at least. I have no screenshots - I was hoping you could see the logs of those players in successive rounds and see they were TKing at the start. I guess if it had happened 7 times in a row it would be clearer (and I had screenshots).

Do you realize how much ROE you accumulated? You've played SF Hospital for 10 hours and have a net score of -29,526. That's is utterly ridiculous. Your ban is for just a week so just wait it out. It won't be lifted. Next time you get caught it'll be a one month ban, so cut it out.

Furthermore, if you look at our internal tracker (ELiZ's), you'll see he accumulated about half of it (-12,229 if I'm not mistaken) in 44 minutes.

That's rather my point - even for a deliberate TKer, it is hard to get this kind of score in that time frame. I don't think it is fair for as a ban, as it was for killing nurses and several retaliatory TKs, however ill advised that may have been. As you say yourself, I got this score on hospital, why no mention of other maps?

If mass killing nurses is a bannable offense for you, so be it, but this must be made clear to players who use assist. I don't think it is a fair to ban as such. I request it be lifted, even if a second such offense is to have a penalty of a month.
