This is my guide to setting up a home server for aa25 assist! I hope others will find it helpful.

Things you will need:
1. static ip from your isp
2. access to your router
3. another pc to setup your server (you can run it from the same pc you game on but not recommended)



Now to set this bitch up:
1. Access your router
2. Click advanced and go to port forwarding & triggering
3. Set up your port forwarding like so:


^ right click to view image and make it large!
In the red circle you will pick your internal ip from the different pc's you have connected to your home network. Example: 192.168.1.1


Plug in the static ip info from your ISP like so (left blank for security reasons):

4. Open aa25 assist and select "SERVER".
5. Select "OPTIONS" and change to your liking.
6. Click "START" to fire up your new server.
You are now done setting it up!


To get it tracked:
1. Log into your account at BATTLETRACKER.COM
2. Select "my profile" from top left corner.
3. Select "Management" from the center navigation via profile.
4. Select "Register server" from options.
5. Enter your static ip address with port of 1716.
Your server is now tracked and can be seen via the 25 assist browser.


Don't forget to add yourself as an admin too

Ok, I can add to server and it works but flags my folder for "Alien file".

Why is a weapon picker mod an alien file and can we add it to a safe list ?

Personally I don't care where it's hosted as long as it's fast....lol
