I do want Post Quote to be simplistic and maybe links are just best but what do you guys think about having images for the navigation links, maybe rollover ones that change and mark what page you're on? It would be a bit more coding but it could look cool. Dann, I was going to ask you about this but since I'm posting here, what's your thoughts?

Its one way or the other. The format of the site right now necessitates the way the navigation is. However, if you use images for navigation, however simple they may be, would mean you might have to change up the visuals of the site. You'd probably have to use images for other things on the site as well.

Good points indeed. Maybe I could just add a check to see what page the user is on and disable the link in the nav bar so it tells you what page you're on. I've also thought about a hover image for the thumbs up/down like filling it in with black maybe?

Little things like hover add interactivity to the site. Especially with a layout so simple, less noticeable things become more noticeable.

I think PostQuote would benefit immense with the implement of a "design" of its own. There are many ways of designing a website whilst keeping it subtle and minimal. Having that said, I wouldn't want to design anything for PostQuote until them "funnies" stop being as much posted, or posted at all.

I implemented code that removes the link on the page that you're on. The text is there, but it's just regular text. Noticeable?
