When I look on your map Spanky, I'm sad I will never play this game again.

to be honest it looks nice, but nothing really changes inside?looks like the same entrances into the each room and only texture, objects changed? i mean any possibility to put more screen shots? would like to see it or even test it.

theres a lot more to the map then a short youtube clip shows, open assist and start a server with maap pipeline.

Spanky, I actually ran around your map the other day, you did a amazing job, need to keep that one running on a good server. :)

Its funny we both had some similar ideas, access to the water tank balconys, and the security cameras. The one I made has a more modern look and feel to it, but your map is killer.

I do like the modern aspect of yours. I went for an old and run-down russian station just for a grungy atmosphere.

IMO, you could do more with yours, just don't expect anyone to play it. I ran my pipeline for a long time on a server I hosted and rarely anyone would join it. I offered to give admin and all that stuff. Anyway, go for some big differences. Change the lighting outside, move some objects. Change things up. Keep at it.

Like yours you really can't see all the changes until your actually running around it. The reason I didn't change up to much is because that's what everyone is used to and also the reason most people won't stray from the original, I modernized it and changed up quit a bit, there's a few more things I'd like to do but need help, like removing portions of statics, converting it to 2.5, testing for bugs etc.

For me, that haven't played the original much, don't see the difference to Pipe.
I am almost religious in my feelings about Bridge Crossing, but can't see the point in the 100's of different versions of the Bridge out there.

Sure, it is easier to use an existing map as a start, and might be sufficient for starting out. In my opinion you will reach higher with an original design of the map.

I applaud your effort, and hope that you would continue to develop, we are here to help out as far as we can.. well I am at least.

Yeah you'd think but that's not really the case. In reality you have to make a gimmicky map like poolday to get people to play it.

Common sense would also say to take a map that's been balanced perfectly for years and bring it up to modern graphics like I did with Pipeline. It's still the same map, just has new tactics and more realism but everybody already knows the layout.

This is also a great point. Balancing is probably the hardest thing to do for a map.
