Login as Admin Results in Ban

Spanky told me to write a report here about this. All day today on spanky's server, anyone who would login for the first time as an admin on the server would get a 1 hour ban. After an hour, you can login as much as you want as an admin without getting banned; but only as long as the server doesn't get restarted.

I guess this is because you login using the AA menu and not the Deploy menu using assist, When you click join in assist with join as admin ticked you sould see, sending verification request to server and verification requiest OK come back before you go in. and your name should appear as adminconsole.

Someones going wrong somewhere, if you were truely an admin you could not get kicked.
I need exact step by step instructions on how to create this bug.

Yes, that makes sense now.
Until I come up with a solution, When changing maps, quit and re-join with assist after loading complete.
And BTW joining an auth server from the console with an open command will always get you banned, No authorisation will get transmitted to the master server if you join like that. You will get banned because stage 2 auth thinks you have hacked stage 1.

I went to try nate's server again and it seems like everything is working smoothly now. Nobody seems to be getting randomly banned for logging in as an admin.

Release hotfix for admin getting banned when changing maps...

aa25.org/Auth.rar

stop server
extract new Auth.u
put it in your 25assist/server folder
start server again.

Auth.u is not working for download.??

admins get banned on my servers (for 1 hour)....idea what i can do?
