Honestly, you guys don't even know how many activation requests we gets. It's a ton. At least 30 a day. It's ridiculously disproportional with the amount of players we have.
I don't know why we have all these activation requests and nobody playing, but this has been happening ever since Assist started. We have 30,000 Assist downloads and only like 300 players (not on all at once obviously). So I don't think it's training.

What Saltuarius said has something... Here is a concrete idea :

I propose that aa25 admins open a special section  in the forums called "Maps".
Inside of this section we could launch like 10-15 threads, each for one map.
Every fan / specialist of some map should then leave his Battletracker link in
the according thread, so after a while, we could maybe identify say 6 players
per thread / map. Once this is done, each squad of six would commit to play
on a server for like 1 hour a day on a regular basis.
Like this, all those old players who like a special map but never played it till
now because according servers were always empty would notice that their
favorite map is being played regularly once a day for an hour and would then
themselves show up more regularly an also bring over some friends.

Any volunteers ?

forcing is not good, but u could motivate ppl to play different maps with a rewarding system.
What about double honor points for a specific map for a week? The map changes weekly. No forcing users this way, just encouraging them.

It could very well be training. Activation requests for users that leave once activated? Sounds like training to me. Don't get me wrong, I still think training is excellent for the game but it's always hurt the playerbase. Perhaps a "trial" period could be put in place where non-trained users are allowed to play 15 minutes per day until they qualify for the first level of training. Or let them play without training but only until they reach 11 honor or ??

I think letting them play without training a little could be a good idea. This feature was added to the game later on as well if I'm not mistaken.

i dont think training is the problem.. that medic class is boring but if we facilitate the answers its fast... maybe if we do random maps each weak could work...??? pick 5 maps one week other 5 another week.. could work? dont now..

I agree with the double honor on specific maps. You could just trial it. Would be nice to see ppl playing on some of the more unusual maps both old and new. Good incentive, even if honor is pretty much useless it would still attract ppl to join.

Other than that about the only thing we could do is edit the maps to make the obj give double points but that would be a very large download for everyone each week so no viable.

another thing we can do as players is pub about the game... i think there is lots of player that played the game and have no idea about assist.. if everyone brings back one player that means the double of what we got now.

most ppl left for the obvious reason. AA3 BF3 etc. And as someone mentioned already maybe in this or the another thread. people have got good on a perticuler map and wont move. Removing trianing would help some player stay and give them an even platform. The other reason for server requests are because you have clans that stay on the easy side being def, and its difficult for new player to get a feel good factor whist being raped by experinced players. Man is selfish at his core. Its always about me. Most ppl are selfish and dont like a balenced challange. Pure selfishness is what it all comes down to. That is why the game is dead. And add to that cheats that you are all sure unsure of. Spend some time finding cheats.

Well Eliz was able to reduce points on Poolday, Square etc ..
