The ringing in your ears lasts for hours. You may not be "blind" for very long, but the bang disturbs the fluid in your ear and gives you a nice case of vertigo. I prefer a few more seconds of blindness in the game to having my soldier stumble around and fall over like a drunk.

In real life people dont sit in 1 spot with an RPG and wait for an enemy to come by hopefully after 14 hours.

 just use a Suicide keybind and be done with it, they ain't doing shit about the flash time , and Suicide keybind work for who ever said it doesn't
