The reason there where 28 teams was because there werent other choices for them if they wanted to play.
Cutting maps has been proven in the past and in other competitive games to be better for competition, this is based on experience. Look at CS for example, look at the esports websites and you'll see.

I get the point that people want LR too, and that the first maplist was unequal.
But for a fact, you can say these maps aren't being played much nowadays (public wise, and matchwise compared to other maps), no matter for what reason.
So on one hand you get yours, on the other, any new players/teams will be lost at hq/swap/woodland/ma/  w/e.

And it's not just new players I played since somewhere in 03 to end of 06, I knew and played these maps on pub and in competition, I ( and by saying I , I mean me and 8 more friends from back then who came back playing ) don't remember squat about these maps anymore, wish I did, and I don't mind learning them again except I have no way to do so really.
Anyways new maplist is fixed, not trying to change it, but there was a good point about the first list being short and simple for the first cup , as they said, it was only for the first cup.

my point was: put in first cup all maps so ur sure all teams ll join.than once we r back in esl u can cut the maps.but u ll lose some teams.situation in cs and now in aao is diffirent they had 300 teams we have 28 i think that we cant afford lose any.

and bridge is good map for competition...without tactice and practise u cant win...no graphic tweaks wont help u like on other lr maps....

maybe tip for next update:make sure all players see same far...put away that if u look side u see further...some players can see that far withot looking side

who decide on the maplist??just put there bridge and sf oasis or sf pcr......the problem off aao is the playing admins who cares only about their team and their wins

u shud ask for help big sergio he is the only one grown up who ll make the best decision for aao not for sk
