Flash issue
« on: Thursday, December 23, 2010, 01:52:40 AM »
Has anyone else been having high cpu usage when using a Flash Program. Not a Video player but a Program where there are many functions etc.

I've gone through the internet, and I've Noticed the problem is for many people with old computers such as P4.

I Tried to reduce the quality of the program and Tada CPU usage is same but the content moves smoothly except the picture quality turns crap.

I've turned off Video Acceleration, even taking the flash content out of the Temp files and playing it on a shockwave player same problem exist

-----------------------

NeverMind, it seems sites that have poor or old coding with the new flash Plugin seems to the problem

Get the latest Flash using File Hippo Update Checker. I have a low-end dual core and mid-end P4 and neither seem to have problems with the latest flash. If it's video, use JDownloader to download it and play it back in a media player such as MPC-HC.

My flash came with the package of google chrome.

I think the poor coding with the new plugin may be the problem
