Custom OS?
« on: Saturday, May 22, 2010, 19:20:26 PM »
Seeing Knight and Alex mention it, I want to know, why? I could see customizing a flavor of Linux but from the ground up? That doesn't make much sense. There's dozens of operating systems out there that are stable, updated and popular as well as fit for ANY application. I could maybe understand if it was 15-20 years ago but there's just almost endless possibilities. It would seem that time and knowledge could be better spent on other things.
It's like shaving your pubes to make your junk look bigger.
Might look bigger, but it aint.....
