Bootcamp

DISCLAIMER: I am retarded when it comes to computers, don't judge...

Alright so I have always played AA on a PC but I'm in university and am currently rocking a Macbook, running Lion (yea yea PCs are better, but Macs are shiny). I want to play AA through bootcamp but have failed multiple times using bootcamp. I think my first problem is that I don't have a genuine copy as my buddy just gave me a disc that is Windows 7 Ultimate but it still comes up as a .iso file, which according to my limited understanding is what I need. So I go to run bootcamp following the steps and it asks me to burn a copy to a disk or something? I just click continue and then it will say downloading windows support software but shit will just freeze eventually and nothing happens. Quite frustrating since I can't run AA since its really the only reason I need windows but I hopefully someone can tell me what I can do/where I'm messing up.

Cheers

I wish I could help you but my experience of Mac computers and software ended the last time I used one about 7 years ago.

I have no idea how Bootcamp works, and I haven't seen what it looks like either. You're going to need to google for instructions most likely. You already have Windows, which is the hard part :)

See I think my problem now is that when it downloads the Windows software and asks to burn it onto a disk, the download simply stops. Maybe shits corrupt or something, I dunno maybe i'll just take it to the mac geniuses. Hopefully they are like the ones from South Park and my problem will easily be fixed.
