I would be open to removing [285] from the 285 maps.
We don't even have to touch Tours.ini.

Then the issue is, what about getting all the maps tracked?

It's still beyond me why people care about Battletracker stats. It's not like you gain anything from it. No features in-game, no awards or unlocks. Nothing. No point.

if there are no stats about your performance what is the use of even playing a game - that is how man is since the beginning of time - a competitive being who wants to be better than the rest - even in the animal kingdom it is like that - survival of the fittest - just joking  :D

Any game there is similar to AA you will find stats about it - its just more fun if you can monitor your achievements and improvements.

I know the whole point is to be competitive against the other players and you can judge how well you're doing but just view the in-game menu and take a look. Another gauge of how well you're doing is how much fun you're having. Having a high long-term number for K/D or Honor or Points on Battletracker does absolutely nothing. The only valuable metric there is "member since" so you can see how long you've been playing but that is generally highly inaccurate.

You know it's easy to criticize , but instead of calling it an idiotic idea and like a few of you can never contribute something constructive and only moan about everything why do you even bother to post something.This is even more idiotic.And yes I also have fun playing the game otherwise I wouldn't be here. I just tried to throw in a new idea and it is rather discouraging if you just enter miserable responses.I think it can be approached in a more positive way i.e. the answer from Eliz saying "yes it wouldn't be a big deal to take the [285] away". That is a more mature reply and leaves it open to discussion.

I was only talking about the 2.85 maps  - the mAAp maps are just fun maps and in my opinion they shouldn't be tracked at all but that is another story to be discussed and the AA3 maps I also don't think belong in Battletracker's Map Stats , but the 2.85 maps would be nice - cause we all joined to play AA2 I believe.

Hi Spanky, Eliz, Dialects & Teddy

The Poll is unfortunately expiring on the 8th of Dec - I put the deadline too short.
I think the result of 90 percent in favour (263 of 292) is pretty obvious
and should be enough to take action on the topic.
Maybe you can prolong the poll by giving it a new deadline - I don't know how to do that.
I could delete poll and put in a new one with the votes so far but do not want to do that
without admins permission.
I assume the trend of voting so far wouldn't change much so I don't deem it really
necessary.

Please give me your thoughts on this and it would be nice
if map names could be altered soon ?!

If you credit Battletracker with point counting (which you can), that's not strictly true. Points give you honor and better honor lets you choose a weapon faster.
