Mk12 SPR improvement

I would like to hear you opinion about increasing power of SPR rifle.

In my opinion damage of this weapon is underestimated. I suggest increasing it. Bullet energy may be considered linearly proportional to weapon damage. So according to Wikipedia energy of common AA weapons are:

M24  2,580 ft/s 175 gr 582435000.0
M4   2,900 ft/s  62 gr 260710000.0
M16  3,110 ft/s  62 gr 297910000.0
SPR  2,750 ft/s  77 gr 291156250.0

Oh SHIT! I see that it have same energy as M16..... How about replacing it with m24?

I'm not entirely sure where you got this information. The SPR (or rather the Mark 12) is a derivative/modification of an M16 rifle and therefore fires the exact same ammo - the NATO 5.56x45mm (i.e the weight is the same). Yet the SPR's muzzle velocity is smaller. So therefore the impacting kinetic energy for the SPR is smaller than the M16 and it should therefore do less damage than the standard M16.
The reason such a modification has been made is to increase the effective range and not it's damage.

Muzzle velocity on Wikipedia is given for Cartridge, Caliber 5.56 mm, Special Ball, Long Range, Mk 262 Mod 0/1: 5.56×45mm 77-grain Open-Tipped Match/Hollow-Point Boat-Tail cartridge. It is heavier than regular NATO cartridge. Calculated kinetic energy is similar to m16, so this gun seems to be well calibrated. I suggest replacing it with M24.

I don't see a single reason why the SPR should be replaced with the M24. We've messed with original maps enough to not want to go through it again.

I've found in 25Assist/armyops/Help/AmericasArmyManual.pdf that real SPR is little faster:
