What's the default location for armyops in linux?
"America's Army not found at the default installation folder"

Yes, it's there, but it doesn't see it for some reason

Try running it with sudo. That's what I've had to do.

If you don't want to do that, check the permissions and/or owner of the folder and change it up so you have permissions. I know for me the entire thing was owned by root by default.
