Figure out how to enable VSync. Everybody should be using it.

Not if you're running on Nvidia

Vsync is enabled, which key is it to make a screenshot?

No need to take a screenshot, we all know what tearing is.

Are you playing fullscreen? Did you enable VSync in-game or in the AMD control panel?

I'm actually not sure if it is tearing since stat fps shows a framerate between 28 and 30 (my system is capable of more than that). I recorded a video of the image corruption , it is always the same shape and I haven't seen it in elsewhere. Not playing in fullscreen, but when I tried the image corruption was still there albeit with a different shape. Vsync was set in the catalyst control panel. How do you set it in the game (linux version)?

Well I stand corrected. That's very interesting tearing. I'd almost think something's wrong with your graphics card. I'm not very Linux-savvy but are you all updated with OpenGL and all that?

Drivers are fine. What I noticed is the I get a different graphical corruption problem in springrts when pixel buffer objects are enabled. Is there a way to disable them in AA?

That's a really odd issue, it has a particular shape. Is your graphic card running perfectly fine on other games?

Type: "Flush" in the game console. Press " to open the console.
Also, try older/newer Drivers, Open Source and ATI ones. (Get the right ones if your card is a Dedicated one or Integrated from AMD A-Series processor.)

more Tips, Edit "ArmyOps.ini"

[Engine.Engine]
DetectedVideoMemory=(GPU Memory, Number in MB, usually set to 0 by default)

[Engine.GameEngine]
CacheSizeMegs=128

//Try setting both to True/False, see how the game behaves, if you get more fps etc..)
//They are True by default.
[OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice]
UseVSync=False
UseVBO=False
