back in hawaii when i lived there i used to go to this camp where they taught you about the native people from many thousands of years who would do all the work on the island in less than 3 hours a day in order for everyone to have enough food clothing and shelter for the day. for the rest of the day and for entertainment they'd surf or swim in the ocean. thats having a life. todays life is about keeping certain bloodlines in society wealthy and luxurious. got people paying thousands of dollars for shiny rocks called diamonds, beliving that they are 'precious stones.' a piece of paper that defines what kind of education you get and what kind of life you will live. everything you suppoosedly 'work' for is to keep them in power.someone dont want to listen or wants to talk send them to jail just like NDAA look that up. our goverment is hi-jacked by corrupt bankers who use us to support them. in europe many countries have GMO labeling, oh wait US with its high standars and NO GMO labels. NICE!

I used to walk with Drug users and I know the consequencies of its use.
tasted Cocaine 1 time, and marijuana 10x, but Alchol was my fav(from Absinthe to Beer), I was an Alcoholic with only 17/18yo(20 in 2 days), Drugs change your world, your point of view, turn you into selfishness, well, nothing good comes from drugs.

Grapes touched on something in one of the last posts. I too am not a worker drone. It's really laughable that the American way is to loan yourself into debt then spend all day every week day working your ass off and then on the weekends try to do things but never accomplish anything because you're too tired from the week and still don't have any money.

I fully agree.

i like to see how others minds work and not prove them wrong or chastize them but rather learn from one another. as a human being we never stop learning, every deserves to have their voice heard.
i dont know how people can live such boring lives doing the same thing everyday, wonder why so many chemically imbalanced people there are cause they are experiencing the same thing that is dulling their minds. i survied on this planet by cultivating trees, i feel obligated to give back to it.

umm, your vote is for who is popular, and i dont think your an elected offical in which you have a hand in the electoral vote? which is why i dont vote because they will pick and choose presidents as they do laws.

I'm talking about the majority of workers, the ones chasing the American dream. That's exactly what Grapes is talking about too. Those people that beat themselves every day and live for the weekend. It's such a rat race. Great reason why I don't go into town on the weekend, all the rushing people. Take a look outside at a highway on Memorial Day weekend. All those people, rushing to try and go camping, try and grab a pinch of nature because they never see any in their drone lifestyles. It's funny really.

I find myself siding with Grapes more actually. I'm not a nut or a conspiracy theorist. I look at the facts. There are so many things that are better than the American dream. I believe self-teaching and experience can make you more educated than college can, at a cheaper price too. A lot of specific jobs require more than college as well such as trade schools or certification. Just skip college and get those things. You'll gain 4 years of your life and you won't be in debt!

Possessed, I'm glad you touched on the drug issue and thanks for sharing your views and experiences. Marijuana is a drug, there's no getting around it. It alters your state of mind. But, a lot of other things do as well that are legal and shouldn't be. Cigarettes, alcohol, energy drinks and more are all hazardous to your health and alter your mind. Making things legal or illegal won't solve issues because humans (more specifically Americans) live in such a weak and easy fix culture that grabbing a health-reducing crutch is far easier than dealing with issues.

lol Killaman, your presidential vote doesn't matter. Direct action matters. I'm actually not going to vote in this next election. You won't improve the world by saying "guy x should be president", you change the world by changing your life and then improving your local world (environment, habitat, dwelling, community, whatever you want to call it). Then inspire others to change and improve for the better.

american's are spoon fed everything so we are tricked into doing whatever it is the super rich want us to do (like cattle). its like this city near me that banned smoking ciggarrettes out in public, u cannot smoke in public or even in your car with the windows down or you get a ticket. but u can drive around with your gas guzzling polluting hummer that if u stick your mouth on the tailpipe and inhale will kill you within minutes. (no i dont smoke ciggarettes but think that law is just wow stupid) since a cars pollution is worse than smoking a ciggarrte.
