Don't delete your recovery partition, you'll be sorry you did if something happens to your laptop :)

If you've filled up C: then I'd suggest getting an external hard drive to store your important data so it's not being risked on a hot laptop drive.

With that said, grab CCleaner and use it to clean junk files (watch out, by default it will delete your browser history and other goodies, be sure to uncheck those options if you don't want to lose that). Then go and do this:

That should give you a fair bit of space back.

You can't create one... it's on there from the factory. You can make a recovery disc but it's not nearly the same as the partition. All of the HP-related stuff is on there, the activation and everything necessary for the system to run. Windows 8 is different too, I might have read something about them not giving OEM's CD keys?

Anyway, it's never wise to get rid of that. The little space it takes is hardly worth wiping. Better off to get an external drive to also use as a backup.

btw, never run cc-cleaner after a blue screen or you will fuck your system partition :D
First time hot knifing hash oil, sent me to the moon, zombified. Not a whole lot of fun.

Can't see how the two would be related unless your disk is failing. If it's a chronic BSOD then you won't be doing CCleaner anytime soon anyway :)

I have cleaned the junks and tried the solution you gave me but it didn't work for me so I went to wipe it with a ccleaner. After i restarted the laptop it automatically repaired the D recovery with all the new space, guess previous data was deleted then. Anyways I got space and thanks for the app spanky it helped me to re have free data I can store.
