I remembered something since Spanky mentioned lights. IRL if a room doesn't have a light source, or some kind of bright light shining in it, the room should be straight black. So the cafeteria needs lights from the vending machines and some emergency backup lights or something to brighten the room. Never brighten an area by increasing ambient brightness a lot. The stairwell needs a light above all the doors, or one light could be broken if you want to make things interesting.

Looks pretty good. You're actually trying to make it look believable. What else do you plan to do on the map?

The CMS causes memory to fill and quit. Sourcceforge wont allocate more memory, so no concrete5. I was kind of hoping to mod its code if it got installed, guess not. Looks like we're gonna have to use SSI + SMF since that's what's been working so far.

When everything is set-up, I can transfer the files and database to any site. So essentially we can consider all this new stuff to be in development. When I have the files set-up at Sourceforge I'll give you access to it so we can start getting things done.

Yes that was exactly the info I was looking for. I'll probably get started integrating concrete5 and smf at the sourceforge site without destroying what is already on there.

I believe Jonny did some subtraction for the ping in Assist to match the game ping.

Ping should not be very significant unless playing with player outside your continent.

The SourceForge project web for Assist has a mysql database and space for us to start this. What would be the ideal way to begin. Should we use SMF and pack it with mods? Or should we use a CMS and tie in a forum? I can install any software on there.

I have to look at the mirror situation before I contact. Like Spanky says, alternate mirrors need to be coded into Assist (or we may find another way), so I need to see how that works before I talk to them. I don't want to let them down if we find out something doesn't work correctly :D

Usually you click all the surfaces you want to align. Press F5 or right click -> surface properties. Click alignment tab -> Planar -> click Align button. If you want to fine-tune anything use the Pan/Rot/Scale tab. Click the number to pan or rotate the texture by that amount. To reverse the direction hold shift and click.

This is a very nice looking website. I just registered to poke around it. This is me.

August if you've gotten started contacting them then awesome. Otherwise I guess I could. I'm not always confident in my contacting skills.

Partially complete. Left is woodland camo, middle & right are desert camo. Woodland and SF are not finished. The SF skins take more work.

We've been trying to find an easy way to do it, but we have to change some game files and a few complicated things which takes a while to figure out. That's 2.5 for ya :P

So right now, the best way to increase the text size is to reduce your resolution.
