well i had to put him in the banlist.txt  not sure how well it works but i assume from testing it would look like this

NAME,"CommonEnemySigmaX",0,0,"CommonEnemySigmaX"

i have replaced the values of the last 6 of his ip and last 4 of his mac. He just came in tk'ing his whole team and talking his hate speech crap. This should stop him from coming in under another name or changed name

this would be a case where if i was dev/admin for assist i would deactivate all accounts except 1 that way server admins doesnt have to worry about him coming in under diff names doing the same crap. 1 name ban and then no more worries about him coming in again.

i can tell u i have a ton of respect for Eliz. he has done a great job with what i really consider the best damn cpu game ever. I came in to decent player on def. You and you man were on assault I saw you wetre getting beat I joined you as I always do. I always help the weak side. So you man decide oh boy great chance to jump over to the easy side on def. We are now 3 on def me and a half on ass. SO I told him he was just another selfish player running to def and leaving HIS WIFE on the harder side. And face you aint no bridge player well not with a gun any way So i point out hes a clown and he is. You did not have a problem with me it was you man if you want to xcall him that. I dont.

it really doesnt even matter at this point, but yes u did tk her. And before u start lying and say u didnt please refer to the ss i posted here http://aao25.com/general-chat-90/int-tk'er-with-ss/ and u can see in the ss that u did infact tk her. as far as this nonsense of "oh no u went to the easy side thats why i tk'ed u" thats childish man. Someone has to be on def. I then came back to assault a few minutes later and thats when u started tk'ing me. When wifey asked why u was doing that , u then started to tk her. But yes i WAS apart of the DEV team. After finding myself with little to no time to help in contributing to the future of Assist, thats when i demoted myself and removed my DEV status. But thats besides the point. Point is no matter if its a DEV, EX-DEV, MOD, Regular player or whatever, a player shouldnt just be running around tk'ing people when things doesnt go his way. Hope to see u ingame when i get more time to play

intersting. 1600x900 everyhintg on high i get like 15-30 but on 800x600 with everything on low i get like 6. weird how that worked

For anyone that may have this problem in the future there are a few things you have to do to make Assist run smooth (Yes i know this is old) And what you would do is

Right click on the x-executable file and go to properties. Click the permissions tab and make sure the box next to "Allow executing file as program" is checked.

Also do your update with
sudo apt-get update
followed by
sudo apt-install ia32-libs

and be sure to make sure you have all the updated drivers for you gfx card
