At this point i thought to myself "a cheat" and
PB_Kicked him accordingly. .

You pb kick after he kills you once? When I get killed I scream so loud that a little bit of poo comes out.

The problem is temporary, johnny has already stated AA will be back later. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you can survive a few hours without AA. Put the time towards getting a job or making some friends.

Sound really is important in games such as AA. Its one of the reasons why I love it so much. In a tight match it really can be the difference between winning and losing. Perfect example is being able to hear a north rush on pipeline, could mean a free round if you can categorically say 4 players are 100% about to run through this small door.

That being said, I see no point in spending any real time or money investing into better sound at the moment. Let's face it, at the moment the only reason anyone would need to invest is to gain a small advantage in public play - which is kind of sad in my opinion. I saw my old team mate say that sound is less important whille pubbing and although he got lynched for it I completely agree, public play is more about honing your game sense and practising being able to predict what an opponent is going to do without relying on sound. If anything it becomes more useful without amazing sound. Apart from anything, the flashes and nades are so overpowered at the moment, i spend the majority of every round either completely blind or deaf (they seriously need to change) so being able to play without sound is even more important now.

If we were just about to play qualifiers for EMS then I'd say yeah, any advantage is worth the investment. But at the moment I'd say just avoid the hackers, put up with the flashes and have fun. Too many losers camping out the last minute of a round to preserve a FR or rage quitting after 2 deaths.

It's not as simple as that. There is no way in hell we would be able to get the source code for AA2. It just won't. happen. We can't make any big changes without the source code.

heh, i know its not that easy ;) it is doable. 2.8.5 would attract a huge amount more players, and its more fun to play!

Brussel's, imagine being the man behind the revival of AA2. Both competitively and public. All you need to do is spare enough dollar to fund some good coders.

Think of it as an investment, when the game is bigger then AA4 and the USA want to buy the code back you'll make a ton of money.

Sounds like a lot of work, but it would definitely be worth getting 2.8.5 back.

I'm wondering Marten? you've had as good a look into competitive (all I'm really ever bothered about with games) side of AA4 as anyone, what is it going to be like? Is it going to be any good?

how would it help fight hackers? there is technically an unlimited number of old accounts and usernames for them to steal. If anything it will make tracking them harder. I don't know why they haven't thought of it sooner..

I remember seeing that a lot but I don't get it. What's it mean? Seems like he's missing a verb in there such as "do" like "wanna do something?". Also, the capital N, O and N. NON? Just confusing.

Nobody really knows what it is / what it means except the man himself ha! it appeared in his sigs and on numerous rage threads..

My best guess is that he was trying to develop some sort of motto or phrase synonymous with BMX=BrU$Sels. In many respects he achieved this, but instead of the phrase being linked with a hard diss or flame as brussel's would have liked it became a running joke throughout the community and was used as a sarcastic put-down.

Similar to his clan, uNT. and the league they developed (uNT. leag) which attracted 5 teams and was claimed to be won by Brussel's himself, but nobody really knows who won.
