Without reading 5 pages all I have to say is I support bringing back moded servers & track it..just look at the stats now..in the higest pick we get 120-130 online players..and back long ago when moded & oldschool servers were online we had like 200-250 online players.
I think we should bring the tracking to moded servers..if people prefer normal,they can play on normal servers.

I liked the first one that I posted more than your spanky,but both are good for assist,first one is more nostalgic,second one sounds gives you more motivation ingame.

Hey guys,was wonder if its possible to add the old aa2 nostalgic soundtrack on the main menu.
What I mean is when a player open the assist,on the sitrep tab this soundtrack will play,as soon as he change to traning tab/deployment tab,the music will stop,exactly like old AA2.

Just found the old soundtrack today made me nostalgic and sweet memories about old days.  :oops:
So what are you guys saying?  :up:

There are enough "normal gameplay" servers,I also run a server with normal weapons for all these "veteran players" that you are talking about..if they really wanted to play AA they could have play those normal servers.."disabling" moding over AA will ruin the correct last piece of AA and you all will see that..most of assist players are NEW aa players and they are all already got used to the moded servers.

In addition,I think its unfair to take unilateral decision about modding while other aa players that FAN mods (for example the best known aa player: [SWISS]Merlin) keeps donating to the project and then all they got in favor are unilateral decisions.

Just think about it more deeply

Maybe its a good update,but from now on 60% of the servers will not be tracked nor honored.

and the list is growing.

I think you should do roll-back to old assist version..the chat logger is a good idea,adding MAC is also a good idea,but all new stuff with baning and disallowing mods on aa..its sounds silly.
Maybe I'm wrong but with time we all will know the results of this update.
