Ban Appeals / Re: ban .error.agata

relax kid, just asking if you had one.

You musta played comp or something... your sessions rival those of some of the best players to ever play this game.

If your not cheating I'm sure you'll get cleared.

Theres plenty of current players that have no scrim experience nor comp experience.

^^^ typically why its spelt, pubber.

People might enjoy competing if they were able to play people more on their level. If headhunters, CTU, CGA all had teams there would be a good spread.

Hardware/Software / Re: The X-Fi series and Quality
« on: Wednesday, August 08, 2012, 14:21:39 PM »
I'm looking for a good card in general. Not for AA. If i want to hear stuff in AA ill just mess the EQ's up and stuff.

This is more of a learning thread for me. I want to know what makes good sound recreation. I noticed a huge difference not just in AA but in everything. i.e. music and videos too. when i installed my x-fi. I just can't imagin how things could sound better then they do now. But that probably just because i have NEVER heard anything better then x-fi sounds.

Im interested to hear what you guys have to say about this. You in particular Spanky.

I understand you dont like the x-fi's or anything Creative it seams because they lack quality in their components.

I bought my X-fi a few years ago and music sounds great, movies sound great, and i can hear my footsteps :) It seams to do everything well.

Why is it that x-fi's pale in comparison to other cards? What cards would you recommend? and what exactly make a good sound card.

The other thing you have to take into account for this game in particular is the effectivness of a good sound card/headset because for an example everyone who plays competitive or has good sound knows where everyone is based on sound alone.

Theres a clear difference. People with sound wont follow other through walls. Bad wallhackers will.

Nick: you'd be surprised how accurately people could be pin pointed with good sound.

TY guys for the help. I ended up buying a GeForce GT 610 to hold me over until i decide to get that new computer i have been looking to buy (probably next summer).

i'm pleasantly surprised to see that its a good deal better then my old 8500 gt considering i only paid like 50 bucks for it. FPS has gone up a bit, AA3 is actually playable now. Pretty exciting. Maybe Battlefield 2 will work now!?

Thanks again fellas.

With good headphones, soundcard and eq settings you don't need sound tweaks to hear people from the other side of the map

Hia, i have avoided this topic but a post caught my eye.

We can schedule a match if you want, you will see why we have to ban this way...
Not sure what that means. BUT the TWL ladder has MAYBE 1 potential cheater and that's even a stretch.

As for a more topic related response. I'd say as long as pitt knows what to look for it should be quite easy to find hackers. BUT one has to be careful, because good players may get wrist/flick shots very often and it can be interpreted as an Aimbot if you are spectating it. As long as Pitt is positive he is watching a cheater then idc what he does.

Wallhack is the easiest shit in the world to see when spectating in first person mode btw, specially if the person hacking is stupid.
