« on: Monday, December 17, 2012, 23:43:07 PM »If you had enough money for a 7970 and enough money to waste on 16gb of ram, why did you get an AMD CPU? That doesn't really make sense to me... Everyone knows Intel blows AMD out of the water when it comes to games (which I'm assuming you use your computer for because of the 7970) Should have gotten an Ivy Bridge i5 or i7, both of which would beat any CPU AMD has on the market for gaming.I don't like Intel based on the fact that they tried to monopolize AMD out of the market and got sued and lost over in Europe. I personally don't like buying an Intel cause most of the good mobos for a Sandy or Ivy are also twice what I paid for the AMD one. Granted there is cheap mobos and expensive mobos for everything but why go cheap if you get intel.
As for the MSI bit, the Gigabyte and Asus mobos were out of stock and wasn't many good ones out yet. Plus I have yet to have an MSI mobo fail on me personally. I haven't had any parts fail on me yet in a few years.
