A good competitive game starts first is getting an audience or people to play. AA had great map ideas and sounds, biggest problem was how slow the game play was. They should make scope play viable in competitive play.

Koden is right on this  one why go back to AA2? It was a fun game nonetheless but still is a super boring game compared to game's today. The maps were good and the gun reg and stuff but a lot of different things could be changed to make the game better. A mixture of both css/cod4 would make the best game both of both worlds. Add in the training aspect of AA along with cook'd nades would make the game better. AA2 was too realistic this is a video game and you want to try and get the audience attention not put them to sleep...

I wouldn't say plenty maybe a few lol If you're looking to play a competitive game I honestly wouldn't even bother with AA just go with the new counter strike game comming out. Cod, css, 1.6 all communities basically into one game

I stated before for FPS games, there are tons of other massive games out there. For you to say EU players don't play games competitively is why some people in the world are just dumb. (No offense) but you sir are just talking out your ass with no knowledge once so ever. Look at Dota, Sc2, LoL, Cod4 had a huge EU scene aswell. Yes spanky you are right but most massive games have a competitive scene as well.

Cod4 was really big when the game was released I remember cal season1 had over 300 teams, but yes cs:go is the last hope for FPS gaming, a lot of the cod players are moving to it they hand picked who was playing in the first esea invite and a call of duty team made the list and will probably do very well.

anyways if anyone wants to pick me up or play hit me up Steam-NickVK9 xfire-Annonamous

Looking to get into this competitively
Cal-M+ in both AA and Cod played abit of source my buddy who works beside me used to play for iog and area51 and a few other teams for source. getting me into this game he will follow along aswell :)

General Chat / Problems with Server!

Alright, well I purchased a server last night from low pings it wasn't up and running until this morning where I was able to find it on the server list through the 2.5 assist. I was able to join the server this after noon and fiddle around with some settings, it wasn't until after I went into the 2.5 assist ini folder to change the server name and try and set up a map rotation where my server problem occurs. Now everytime I try to join it through the 2.5assist list it keeps saying server is offline with an X through it. I have tried changing something things back around but still with the same result and restarted the server several times.

Another question is are these map names correct when entering them into the ini folder?
map=mout_mckenna
map=collapsed_tunnel
map=hq_raid

etc etc just want to make sure I'm entering everything correctly
Also colour scheme when entering my server name its just black I tried to enter it like
Servername=Nicks Stomping Ground! colour=red

Hopefully someone can help me out thanks!
