Don't forget monkey island to puth random spawn point and this map can handle 50 players easy.  This we about  befor summer .
Imagine the amount of lag with 50 players :D

The more I've played scrims the more I'm suspicious about random spawns. On public servers they would be great, but they would only mess up the tournament mode. At least it would be difficult at start, but I guess it's only a matter of time when players would get used to it, for example the mission planning round could be like 6-8mins then so both teams could make their plans from both spawn point of view.

I really have no idea how the map editor works and how much you can put options there and where ever, so just hypothetically speaking: the best way would be to put spawn points that are different depending on game mode, so on public match the spawn point would be random, but on tournament mode it would be static. Like I said I have no idea how it works, but are you able to put some code on one instance inside the map, program it's properties depending on some variable? I guess it's not possible either to have an option in adminpanel from where to click random-spawns on when they'd be available?

I would love to see random spawns in Urban Assault, Mout McKenna, Rummage and SF Sandstorm, Im sure they'd work on these maps very well, BUT - the big but - only on public servers.

Okay, that clears things up a lot, and that's definitely not how it's supposed to work. Sorry about that. I'll take a look at it. Don't bother playing Petrol either as it should suffer from the same problem.

Hehe I fell into same shit I hate the most; giving feedback without actual feedback on it. Im used to it that clients are reporting about something that doesn't work, but they never say how is something not working etc :) Like I wrote, random spawns were confusing, but I didn't describe how they were confusing. Oh my..

We can test it more if there's need to, we really played only a few rounds.

As for the bugs, I never had the change tot est it out with multiple people but I don't see any reason why that should be happening.
Also as far as lag goes I apologize. I can't really test maps efficiently as I usually get 90fps on every map.
That was my intention. I didn't want to place the new slots too close to the garage so it would be a bit more difficult to rush in with the RPG.

Well enemies were spawning right next to us and our guys from two different places? Maybe I just haven't played that map enough :)

New slots in hospital works fine, ambush rpg is far enough for to not be able to spam 1st lobby rushers and escort rpg can blow ww entrance spammers. Vip can't rush from underpass every round since the fear of rocket :up:

We gave a test for City Block, it's random spawns was just confusing. Also we all had a bug over there that showed friendlies as enemies. It also lagged a lot, so we had to change the map after 3-4 rounds :/

I love the updates, but someone should clean the toilet in City Block ;)
