OK, so it is impossible to change the spawns from random to a cycle, but I have found a better solution!

I can change the spawns to limit the spawn options of the other team where there would be a spawn rape scenario.

In other words, if a team spawns at Assault/Defense North (the raped spawn) the other team would NOT be allow to spawn at Assault/Defense South (the cheap spawn that does the raping) and would instead spawn at another location. Would this be desirable to everyone? This would keep the random spawns but get rid of the stupid spawn raping scenario that occurs.

It's worth checking if there won't be a scenario where the teams are far away and one of em is close to both the objective (at the bus) and the extraction point, cause that would make for an almost instant win of course. I don't think it might happen, but i'm not sure about it.

Also, ELiZ, I'm wondering if we should allow people to choose their own face textures again along with an option for male/female body types? Should we go all the way and allow people to choose their camo as well?

Then a player should be able to see all of the teammate's camos as the same type of his own. Maybe it might be better to customize parts of a camo with additional strip, tabs, signs or whatever. The official American Army Insignia is pretty cool too.

Decreasing the field of view isn't a viable option (tends to make for motion sickness under 85/87 degrees)

I would like to see an OpFor mod, ppl playing as OPfor against US soldiers ;P
while back I made a mod, but as I'm a not a coder it did not worked as intended.

edit:
now add Vehicles and then Spanky make some shitty speed way map :P

I'd bet at first there would be so many roe violations :P

There were already a few vehicle training custom maps (which were great to learn how to drive the humvee ingame), it's offtopic anyway.

I like spawns being random on Extraction, the issues is about having spawns so close that one of the teams has only one way to move from the spawn (getting killed while trying), and if i recall correctly that happens only on one case, that's why i voted no.

so it's additional with the aa25 servers

Home or company/workplace? It's always cheaper to have someone hosting and servicing one for you unless you have one that you use for other purposes. Especially considering security and servicing if some of the hardware fails (which does happen).

This is good progress, the old camo is looking dated now.

The digi camo is a cool evolution, but i just love the woodland camo :3

I've verified that I can replace Mesh AND Texture as I see fit:

Replaced
A-charactersMIL.SoldierM_Infantry_Arctic_Grenadier
With
A-charactersCiv.DocF_Nurse

And Dressed her up in the forest uniform.

Looks kinda freaky, Texture uv's don't really match up between mesh and texture, and I forgot to change the face Texture, so what you are seeing is a Female body, but a Male Face.

Accounts are personal. If he eventually cheats while using an account you created, you will end up being linked aswell (it used to be the same in the "old days").

did you koden played ai maps before? :)

I played cooperative for a couple years before America's Army went down, both official and custom maps. At the moment i play a lot on Killing Floor, which is a cooperative survival, wave based game (it is insanely challenging on Suicidial and Hell on Earth levels). So it's not like "bots are stupid" simply their behavior is as refined as it was designed to be, if you don't write how a bot will behave he will do next to nothing (like the bots from 2.4.1).

Hmm maybe they might move a little, it's probably designed into their behavior, not sure of the "default" level of awareness and use of the nearby background by the AI.

And if it's possible to implement on all maps, that makes it much more desirable imo.

On all the maps...? We'll need to take care of the path, patrolling nodes, firing nodes, covering points, etc.

jonny did you ever played ai maps? its like killing puppets, no fun imho, it will be dead after few days, and i hope its gonna be untracked.

Personally i don't care about honor and score, as long as there's someone to play with i would play cooperative.

Why do you mess with 2.5 anyway? Why can't just 2.5 stay 2.5 and not a hybrid between 2.8.5. One person makes a suggestion and it changes the game for everyone. Same like with the SAI, why on earth we need on our beloved 2.5 Battlefield style radar. Next time I make a suggestion that we need a hummer on SF Hospital because its too far from spawn into hospital and I guess a week later I will actually get it.

The SAI can be disabled by server settings, and by what Eliz wrote,
