« on: Friday, March 03, 2017, 03:26:50 AM »ya... why didnt i read this before... i changed my AA2 ingame name by "Jɘ@n_@®®@chɘ" and on battletracker when i changed it and submitted it worked but when i login in AA assist it tell me that i have to change my ingame name cuz of the special character that i used but i cant until 24 hour. -_- why does it let me change it like that on the battletracker then? :/ thanx anyways i should come more on forum.Because Battletracker works on its own, this is not the only game for what Battletracker accounts are used for. Assist is not related to Battletracker so it can't affect on the way how Battletracker validates their accounts.

They obviously got pissed at me talking smack about germany so my assumption is justified. They didn't deny they were german either.The server has german flag because it's located to Germany, we used to have server in Netherlands even though we are from Finland. There are only several providers having AA 2,5 servers on rent, these guys just decided to make a deal with this provider.
I've just been around for a few weeks and I don't know which servers have a bad reputation so forgive me for going there and ranting about my experience. You won't read about it from me again as I sure won't play on it.
You might want to get your facts straight before you start threads like this, although this particular server does have its own issues.

That server has nothing to do with german people, actually you'd be surprised if you knew the nationality of one of the server owners.
Admins can easily mute players if they go too far with their trash talk, but they can do nothing else than kick + ban if they start teamkilling. Also you can ignore trash talk but you cant ignore being teamkilled.

If you look about one year backwards and all the way until last fall, they used to start around 20:00 CET and keep going for several hours. Feels like there's different person doing these now but then again attacker must be aware of couple of flaws that exists so it's not just some regular dumbass using google how to execute a attack, just saying.
Would be interesting if some active server admin could provide logs from their server once server has crashed. aa25.log provides information about the crash but once you restart the server this log file will get overwritten. So once the server crashes, find the log file and download it to your computer before you restart the server.

Cool idea, however during these days there's only couple of servers being populated so there's not much from where to choose what to play. Server admins should work more together and share information with each other, once you face such a teamkiller as you're referring to, grab his information (guid, ip, playername) and write a ban rule to pbbans.dat and share it with other server admins so they can ban
such a teamkiller as well.
While admin is not on, you can pb_kick this kind of people out with fellow players. You get ones pb_id by writing to console pb_power for example, then from the list pick certain pb id and type pb_kick and that certain id

pb_power
pb_kick 11
In order to get one pb_kicked you need to get others typing the same pb_kick command to console as well. Not a long term solution but helps you a lot

Open any folder on your computer, in the address bar type %appdata% then press enter, go to 25Assist and check if you have permissions there. If you do, see if you have a folder inside named armyops
