Interesting read. All portable electronics have the potential to do that due to a battery. IMO, that would be another reason to get later generations as that stuff might have been improved/fixed.

Oh dude, did some work on a model just like that. It was pretty fun to work with, isn't that an ASUS motherboard? I don't know how you live with 512mb of ram, ask on craigslist for some more, can't be more than $20 to get something going. Don't buy new ram now, prices have skyrocketed and even doubled in some places for ram. I might have to steal that external drive, that's one I've been eyeballing for a while :D

same problem for me alkos... not all the time ..only somrtimes for multiple files .tmp.. it is just wierd that no one seems to know why..all the expplanations so far dont explain why and are not correct.. its not a rights permission issue..its not an issue with my comeputer... it is just a wierd tmp file that people get randomly and not cosistently.. its just wierd.. i say it is the russians lol

I recall when you posted the screenshot, Alkos. Unfortunately, I can't provide any insight as I also haven't seen any temp files on my end. My best guess would be a permissions issue, but without being any to reproduce I can't really say for certain.

play more and you will get theses files...assist7z,7ztmp1 2 3 4 and so one..doesnt happen all the time and this has been happening for years... i have probably deleted over a hundred times...was just wondering y it keeps making duplicates...
