Oh okay, I was looking at the picture just now and I see what you mean. The weapon is not as big of a deal as the fov. But I guess one could potentially move the weapon model over a little bit. We just have to figure that out first because this isn't something that someone knows how to fix right away lol. You gotta look at the code a little bit before you know what your looking for ya know?

Holy seatbelts. I had no idea lmfaooooooooooooo.

I always knew AA2.5 was running build 3336 (since thats ue2.5), but I thought the editor was 3336 as well.

Looks like the devs were winging all of E3 that year :P

Leopardi,
When you say weapon model, do you mean the way the weapon looks when you zoom in?

You will have to wait until Jonny (the one in charge of the honor) see's this, but since your total score is 2,461,154 that is more than enough honor for 100.

Using this scale:

Leopardi,
Find us a value between 85 and 101 that looks good to you and we'll do it. We're all trying to figure this out too.

Unreal engine 2.5 is just plain retarded lol. I swear it does all this funky stuff cuz it renders in a box instead of a sphere.

Switching the fov to 101 on wide resolutions gives you the same top and bottom view as a 4:3 resolution, however everything fish-eyes like a bitch.

Well, leave the the widescreen option on Assist. If people can deal with the fish-eye, they have a widescreen option. And they can't come back here and complain about it either. They can suck a tit if they do.

I can see the edges warping more. What was the resolution you were playing at just curious?

Leopardi, 101.5 looks good. As far as the weapon model, we can't really do anything with that. It's just the way the game is.

Doing training changed how the weapons functioned? I didn't notice any difference tbh.

You can always try to private message Homey on battletracker. Sometimes topics get overlooked on the forum, but Homey will see if he gets any new messages.

Offtopic, but does anyone else think that one particular soldier looks like Harrison Ford?

Well, I see desert camo soldiers and no desert :D

Could just make a sand ground, add some palm trees, a rock, and one of those generic desert houses in the bg. Think border + radio tower but much much simpler cuz its supposed to be a small map :D

Unless you're going for a simple look.

The grandmaster of map testing seems to be AA3 Pipeline. So I guess we can base the requirements off that. I can run around at a few resolutions and give some stats. You want me to run around at normal settings then?

Lawdy. Why does Tim Sweeney have to make uscript look so awkward?

In this day and age, minimum requirements should be to run on normal with decals on low (projectors take too much cpu power). Althought I don't know how much of an impact on your FPS there is if you have the textures on low/normal/high. If you at least have a graphics card, your going to be getting better fps than people running on integrated.

Recommended should be to run the game with all the settings maxed (this doesn't have to include resolution. I max my settings but play on 1024x768).

I would consider my comp as running at minimum requirements. I'd say it's pretty fair to assume that.
