So we should keep new life from coming into this world so we can live longer? I think that is the most selfish and disgusting thing I have ever heard. If you guys want population control, then I suggest you kill yourselves first. To enforce laws on people that tell them how many kids they can have is pure evil, and nothing less. I really don't think you realize what you're saying.

And just by chance there is something wrong with the current population level, then I suppose nature will take care of it.

I really don't get what you mean by your first statement... Is it your goal to have as many kids as possible as fast as possible before you die? We're talking about moderation, just because you can doesn't mean you should. We're not talking about killing kids off so that parents only have 1 or 2 kids, we're talking about prevention... condoms and other do-dads. How is it selfish to ask a couple to have maybe less than 10 kids so we as a population can maybe survive and grow enough food for ourselves? If we, and by we I mean those of us who think rationally about this subject, kill ourselves then that would drive the, for lack of better term, intelligence of the population down.

Your "god" or "nature" won't and can't take care of all your problems or our problems. We have to step in and intervene to the same degree if not more, in the opposite direction, that we would be by doing nothing at all. You and me have talked about this over MSN before and I don't really get it... how many people is too many in your mind? Are we supposed to walk on other people's heads before doing something?

What clan hasn't Thor been in I've started a bet with him to see if he can hold a clan for 6 months. He has to report in and provide evidence that his clan is alive and that he is indeed in it on the first of every month until June 1st 2010 at which point if he is still in his alive clan I will give him $20. However, I doubt he'll last a month in which case I get $20. So this will be his report-in thread (I'm banking on the fact that Headshot! will be around).

I've been wanting to upgrade my audio setup for a while and came across a brilliant company/product the other day.
It's called the Maverick Tube Magic D1 DAC/Amp:

Anyway, the DAC is being sold with a special pre-order price of $199. Pretty soon the price will go back up to $230. I ordered one after talking with the owner for a while who is extremely nice, friendly, informative and above all very fast in response time. The company (and I'm assuming the owner) is in/from China where there are a lot of cheap products emerging. Ryan (the owner) really sets himself apart though. He is striving to be successful in the audio business and in my opinion he's doing great. He has a professional website, attitude and solid product that would never hint at being a cheap Chinese design. His DAC/Amp is based upon a design that other companys market (I'm not sure if all the companies are just one big company or what) that can either cost the same or more. What sets his apart is that he's redesigned it and used quality parts in the process.

I haven't even received mine yet and I have nothing but praise for Ryan and his company. I will update this with a proper review after I have time to burn-in and test my unit.

Wow, I didn't even say what this device is for To put it short, it can take any digital signal (USB, optical, coaxial) or analog signal from any device and produce quality sound. See the picture below for an idea.
