and Spanky,if you weren't joking, you sctually believe that kids that don't try in school should get to go to college over ones that try hard?

Without a college education it is almost impossible to make a living in the U.S. I don't see why you would choose not to go to college....

1. Yea, they obviously need more schooling than I do.
2. Money, time, making sure you know what you want to do, generic/boring/pointless classes that have nothing to do with the career you want to pursue, fucked up politics and side-events... I could go on but I have better things to do.

I'm glad Blueblaster posted. If you know what you want to do, then pursue that OUTSIDE of college. You'll spend less time and money and you'll thank yourself.

*EDIT*
I forgot one huge obvious downside especially in todays economy:
STUDENT LOANS

You were wrong KiLLaMaN, I wasn't joking. I don't think I would go to college in the US even if it was entirely free to me. But that's just me...

I'm sure this has been spread around like mad but it's worth bringing up again:

I'm sure a lot of you, especially those living internationally, have seen the yellow DHL trucks. Perhaps you've even received a package from them. I recently ordered something and it looks like they might have screwed up my address. I e-mailed them and the seller, the seller assured me that it's being routed to the nearest processing facility (because DHL doesn't deliver in the US) to me. I got a reply from DHL as well, although it was a canned response. I read the response and the first thing that hit me was all of the form/html code that was poorly designed to handle the e-mails was actually included in the e-mail. But when I got to the actual text, I laughed and said "WTF".

This is a copy-paste of what I saw:

Thank you for contacting Dunder Mifflin.  Your email is important to us and we will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible.  If this email is an inquiry regarding new products, the information is available on our website.

For those that don't know, Dunder Mifflin is the fictional company in which the US clone of "The Office" is set in.

I swear... you can send them an e-mail as well:

AJ, here's your answer about college. You shouldn't go because there's people like Thor that need it a whole hell of a lot more...

First part sounds pretty good :) I know there's an option like this in Foobar to pull data from Last.fm but I've never really messed with it. Nice find for iTunes though.

Just gonna bump this... Fraps 3.0.3 does not have the destop capture feature.  I had to find my 3.0.1 installer again for that.  What good is FRAPS without that feature?

:) Believe it or not, I've never used it to capture desktop video. 98% of the time I use it for a FPS meter and nothing else lol. Good to know though.

In this area, "quality" can cost you anywhere from probably $20 to several thousand. It's all a matter of how deep you want to go. That's what she said.

Yea, about 6 months I would guess. Just a couple months after your mom's doc said "si" signifying that she has a bun in the oven.

In the hi-fi audio world there really isn't a "gaming" headphone/headset that produces quality audio (especially the 5.1 headphones). This model is actually recommended for movies and gaming due to it's sound style and closed drivers. It's bass heavy and has good positioning. It's a very popular beginners model and there's a few things you can do to it to alter the sound to the way you like.

If you're interested in purchasing a quality (in terms of build and sound) pair, I suggest checking out this thread:
