It could work out, if we organized a party and everyone actually showed up. Chances are, people won't ---as we've witnessed in the past with the mAAp parties. Personally, I wouldn't show up. Not until I get my iMac delivered home.

I like how Dann doesn't bother to say anything about the video  ::)

What would improve this site? What would draw more users? What's needed?

MAYBE I'll release it out for single-player but the practicality of multiplayer, especially without Assist makes it pointless.

Thanks Thor, but... you disappoint me. If you cared... you would know that Assist has been down a long time, 2.5 is for all practical sake dead, the mAAp server will die in 8 days or so because I asked AoWC to shut it down and to top it off, I'm the only one that has the map and I'm mostly playing around and seeing what cool things I can do. Good luck getting a chance to play it in multiplayer :)

Ha, thanks. I've been wanting to put a new sun in there for a long time. The original one is just a copy-paste of the one from SF Oasis :) Ton's of subtle changes, fixes and optimizations hopefully some are obvious.

I'm assuming that if you know what this is, you know how to use it by now. By viewing the map, you're not obligated to report any bugs or anything. This is NOT a mAAp Pack release, this map is not for multiplayer. I will not provide support or help on how to use it. For those that forgot, there is a trigger switch icon behind the east oil tanks, walk into it to trigger the matinee video as seen on YouTube. Constructive comments are welcome.

I thought I would look this game up again and found something interesting:

Engine:
Unreal Engine 3 (singleplayer)
Frostbite Engine (multiplayer)

UE3 has multiplayer... that's obvious. I wonder what makes DICE's engine so great for multiplayer but not single player.

Also, there's a video:

Yea, I'm feeling like that too. I know I could probably lower the settings in the game but I also know I really need a quad-core processor. At least, if I remember correctly, you have an "ok" OEM dual-core right now and starting from scratch wouldn't be a huge loss. I feel rather stuck having poured money into a quality motherboard and DDR2 RAM. $260 for the best CPU I can run and then later have to buy a whole new computer or $450+ to start with new mid-end components and then be in the same situation I am now when Intel releases a new chip and program requirements rise. Bleh. Here's a tip: remind yourself you don't have any money so you can't do anything either way, it tends to go away after a while :)

I'm pretty sure the police station volunteers for this kinda thing, I don't know whey they would volunteer it but... It's pretty cool. Now I know if they're coming for me :D

I was wondering when they would do something. But 70 of them!!! Wow. I would patch them as I found out about them but I think they're really striving for less frequent updates. I've gotten updates only a few times on Windows 7 in the last 5-6 months or so. The last one had 7 updates that were bundled together and that was a couple days ago.

I came across this thinking "No way they'll have my state, county or city in it." I was wrong. I'm listening in on actual police conversations between the cars and the station.
