« on: Monday, April 14, 2014, 14:38:25 PM »Yeah I was playing with Assist AAO25 in 2011.....and they restored my Honor for me too.....and I never had to re basic training , at least I don't remember doing it again. But regardless, I was playing and had no troubles before the recent changes here.You were playing with Assist in 2011? If your battletracker account was made before 2012 then you shouldn't have to do training.

Anyway I thought he was with you.If you have two PCs with 2 different installs and it happens on both then the odds are it's a network issue on your end. It sounds like something is blocking data from getting to the server.
It looks like it may have something to do with the "Assist exe not responding" after trying to save the results. Just tried it again without a firewall and no AV.
Later I'll try repair and reinstall options. Cant do it now because I am in a stupid country with a stupid ISP with bandwdth limits.
Like teddy said, it could be Windows, or any other programs you have running. I'm pretty sure Assist works on Windows 8 though.

The only thing I can tell you is to try to reset+repair AA in the install tab and see if it fixes it. Not sure what else to do.

I haven't done it myself, but I hear the trick is to hit save, wait until the game tells you it can't. Hit save again and then exit the training and Assist should update it.
The in-game save doesn't work as it goes to the official auth, which doesn't exist anymore.

It's not the fastest process, but we do this in our spare time. It's not a job.

PB kick will not be removed. You currently need quite a few people to successfully kick a player out of a server. It's a useful tool for when a server admin is not on.
Of course it has the potential to be abuse but we can't do anything to stop that.

I thought he meant they'll start banning every 2nd account that is linked to another one. Which is what he pretty much wrote.It all depends on how often. Normally we can tell who actually owns what account and who is just playing on their friend's/sibling's PC. However, if you do it often enough it gets more difficult to tell and a blanket ban might occur. We haven't really had such a situation though.

And this game will die, completley within 3 months. I've stuck around for longer than i care to admit, but that'd be the nail in the coffin banning accounts based on your twisted aspect of "fair play"lol. Start? That's been our banning policy ever since Assist started. When one of your accounts get banned, all of them get banned. Needless to say, it's lasted for a lot longer than 3 months.

That's already our policy... I don't get exactly what you want.
Unless you want us to go and ban everyone who already has multiple accounts (we can't actually delete them) but that is way too much work and would be impossible to do.

It's all relative though. A busy night on AAO25 now could be matched with just my own clan playing an internal scrim back in 2008 or so...
Really quiet over the weekend, but it is 4th July. Being in Scotland I forgot and thought AA was finally dying, but I can see people are filtering back. Probably fairly bloated....
