I was going to but... I didn't. It gets complicated enough to have to open the plug packages, organize the parts, strip the main insulation, strip the shielding, strip the individual wires, tin them, tin the connectors, gather heatshrink and triple check to put it on the cable in the right order with the covers and then put it all together. Maybe next time I will... I was planning on buying some of those KSC-75 headphones and recabling them but moneys ran short for now.

I've been dabbling about in DIY cables since I have basic soldering skills and it's quite fun. You can get a pretty nice cable for an even nicer price.

lol, yeh, bumping a 3 month old thread.

Found out why it wasn't giving the option.  It removes it when in Windows Basic (like when the game loads up...).

At least you're coming back I think you're searching for the term "Aero" which is something I've been meaning to post about.

This will probably happen tonight since I just purchased the domain. Rodger is... inactive on MSN so my hosting package isn't up yet. I'll put this site into maintenance mode then once the transfer is complete, I will remove the index.php and replace it with a html redirector and message. This actual website will remain active for many more months as a redirector.

Since my personal site has crapshit for uptime, I'm going to be purchasing a plan from XN-Host. I will then create a subdomain (most likely http://hsc.natescomp.com) for this site and there won't be any slowness or down time. I don't know when this will be, I'm hoping for sooner rather than later since my personal site is down more than it's up. Just a heads up though. I will put a redirector and a message here that will send you to the new site when it happens.

It's a poor lubricant. It's meant to loosen rusty parts and displace water (Water Displacement #40). Same reasons you wouldn't use it instead of motor oil in your car.

Probably isn't bad but probably isn't recommended. I don't have the proper instruments, time or desire to figure out if it is as good as or better than sewing machine oil. I just know that sewing machine oil comes recommended by many people. I'm sure at least, that it's better than no lubrication
