Someone's been DDoS'ing game servers for months (if not years) now. I understand it's gotten a little less frequent recently, though.

Sorry, I missed this one earlier.

You're most likely not getting the email from battletracker.com. Like I've said countless times, they've been having trouble with sending emails to @msn.com/@hotmail.com and most likely @outlook.com has the same issue.
Register a new account with a different email provider.

Most accounts are automatically accepted within 10 minutes.
However, if the automated system detects that it might be a second account, the account will need to be checked manually by an admin. There is no set times where these are checked. I try to do so every day, but that's not always the case.

Your account has now been activated, though.

so IGC wicked can have 3245676435345 account's but i cant even have an secundary account really poor administration..... so whats the point in keeping the game running if u wont let new players join the game. i dont understand, disapointed in the staff bigtime.
If you already have multiple accounts from before 25Assist, you can play with them all. But we don't activate accounts for people who already have one.

This is not my personal vendetta against you. I've given the same answer to countless posts before and have personally denied thousands of second accounts over the years.

And please use the correct thread so I don't have to keep moving your posts.

I'll start by saying I've not dabbled with game servers myself so I will probably not know most of the intricate details.

However, since I felt I'd heard of the problem before, I used the search function on this forum and found this:http://aao25.com/forum/server-support/reset-server-on-the-wrong-map-thanks-for-your-help!/msg104715/#msg104715

It might be that you're using the default .ini while you should be using aa25.ini

If that's not it, you'll have to wait for someone who's actually run a server on this game.

I will go ahead and assume that it is.

We don't have access to battletrakcer.com accounts and can not help you with activating them if you didn't receive an activation email.

With that said, battletracker has had problems sending mails to @hotmail/@msn and such email addresses for what I think is probably a year now. I can venture a guess that a @outlook accounts might also have the same problem. Again, we don't have any control over battletracker so I don't know the full extent of the problem, all I know is people haven't received their activation/password reset emails to such email addresses.
The only admin there has been missing for literally years now.

If this is the case, then the easiest way to remedy the situation would be to register another account there with an email that's not @hotmail.com @msn.com or @outlook.com .

Where are you waiting for activation?
No account is waiting for activation on your IP on Assist's side of things.
I could, however, find a battletracker account by that name:

In order to use that account to play in 25Assist, you need to add a AAO PlayerName (on My Profile -> Tracker Settings) and then log in to 25Assist.

That account does not require activation and is good to play.

If you think you can't access that account, just try logging in to battletracker with your username "xXxPu5SySlay3rxXx". You can also try to retrieve the password.

If you can't gain access to the account, you'll need to provide me with the battletracker account (link) to your new account so I can activate it. I will only do so if you can't access your old account, though.

You can just use the details for that account and log in to 25Assist and you're good to go (login name "Crogeddon"). No need to claim honor if you still have access to the account.

If you don't have access to the account, you need to provide your new account details as well.

I certainly find myself missing the way things used to be. I started around 12 years ago now.

I remember being able to pick any map you wanted and even having a choice of servers on almost all maps there were. At one time I was in a SF Courtyard whoring clan and I remember there was always servers on the map, last I played it hardly ever saw any playtime.

And I surely remember playing AA all night. Being from Europe, it was clear I should have gone to sleep hours ago when the US brethren started going to sleep (even though their time was 8-10h behind mine)... Oh those were the times. I even remember playing a 12h session (my longest I do believe) once (in fact it shows here, too)

With that said, this is an old game and I would say that we're lucky we still have a player base at all.
