« on: Wednesday, September 19, 2012, 14:52:37 PM »Flashes work in a more realistic way, but if the fall even beyond even a small obstacle you're not going to get blinded (likely just getting your sight darkened)...of course the flash blast will get you partially deaf for a few seconds and that matters too.
Flash are very effective, just cook it for that half/quarter of a second before throwing and will explode in the air, likely being a lot more effective than if it was to bounce around. Obviously, as any other weapon they can't fall through volume blocks, and you have to be aware of that since a lot of objects feature a player volume block (which isn't visible) that has a different shape in comparison to the object its build upon (e.g. a chair or a desk), because volume blocks are made to smooth collisions out.
This way you'll be prepared for you next "flash wtf" when you throw your grenade around and it bounces against invisible corners ^^.
