I'd applaud you but Killaman told me this and I'm curious as to why he didn't post it. But, thanks for taking the time to post it here :)

This isn't IM, speed doesn't matter. Look at what you're typing and don't click "Post" until you feel it's ok. </derail>

For the past few months, I've been updating a thread on another site with content. Basically, it takes information from a 100-page thread and condenses it into 1 post. I just finished revising it and I'm amazed at how awesome it looks. I defy you to find a more helpful and organized thread.

Knowing what happens next, that song they were playing @ 4:35 is really eerie.

That's half the reason why I included it. Maybe I'll upload the intro to the season, they did a really creepy start knowing Phil is dead.

*EDIT*
No need to, here's a halfway decent one: (hint: when you hear people talking about pulse and oxygen, that's Phil.)

Overheating definitely makes sense but, while I haven't seen every OEM computer there is, none of the ones I have seen "beep" when they get too hot. But yea, ignore my recommendation, and stress it. Instead of superpi, I would recommend OCCT Linpack:
http://www.ocbase.com/perestroika_en/index.php?Download

It will heat up quick and stop if it gets too hot. If you can go 5-10 minutes, it's probably not overheating. If you can run it the whole hour, it's definitely not overheating.

I've never known an OEM computer to warn about it but my first guess would be overheating. To test this, open the side panel and turn it on and don't do anything on it. If it doesn't beep or shuts down, then there's your answer. I know "shuts down" could be a quick BSOD and restart/power off. When memory goes bad, it's generally a lot of program crashes and seemingly random BSOD's.

How's he die?

Massive stroke at port and then died at the hospital. Years of stress, cigarettes and red bull will do that.

o.O I typed out the text I was going to post and uploaded the video. Now I come back and the text is gone... Oh well. I'm surprised nobody was interested in this (or at least replied). I'm compelled to post about the last episode I've seen that recently aired. I know Captain Phil dies in the next episode on the 22nd and it was just emotionally tugging to see the ending of the last episode. Watch on:

But nope, I had the text in right away.

Hmm, maybe make it a little more obvious then?

Lol.  You gotta admit, what I used to show you spanky, (no sexual) that is by far the best thing I've ever made.  (sadly :\ lol.)

That's what I wanted to say but without insulting you. Did you add your name into the sig after we saw it? I just now noticed it...

*IMAGES REMOVED*

Suggested by Blueblaster, here it is.

Ode to the Burby: a retired Forest Service rig, a 1992 Chevy Suburban, a family member that has been there AND done that.

It's been a rock-solid vehicle and after 10 years of use after it's retirement, has only just now started to need a little work. About 4 years ago, it had a tune-up and a few things done before the trip to Idaho. It got a new muffler, synthetic oil and tune-up for the tranny, brake job, new shocks, a o-ring for the driveline, just little stuff. A few months back, it needed a new power steering pump, water pump, oil cooler lines, and a new intake manifold gasket. The other day the alternator needed new bearings and the tensioner replaced. But, all that repair spans 10 years of ownership and some was voluntary. With the original cost of the vehicle and repairs, it's been a little under a grand a year to run.

Winter storage:

Fire watch:

Winter slip:

Colder than a witches titty:

Water pump giving up:

Oil cooler lines giving up:

Even with the repairs, no joke, couldn't ask for a better vehicle. It's done everything asked and more.

I doubt claiming ignorance would work. It's your account, your equipment, your responsibility. If the WiFi thing did work, I would assume saying it was your 5 year old kid would work as well.

Artistically, it's kinda cool. I don't know how much work you did on it but it doesn't scream noob. Personally, I don't like it. There's nothing that appeals to me but, you made it for you and if you like it, that's what matters. :)
