Drama & Spam / Re: SB Drama

AAC, I want to ban you from the game and forum for being annoying.

Here's where your points fall apart;
These rules we're posting are for the things WE created. I coded the shoutbox and made the code that integrates it into Assist. It has nothing to do with the game and really, I own it. I'm giving you permission to use it because I'm just that nice. You have no rights to use it, you are simply using it on my good will. Like borrowing something from someone, surely you wouldn't be an asshole and abuse it now would you? Maybe you would, maybe that's the kind of person you are. But, for most people, common sense comes in and they treat it with respect.

When you abuse a system, your permission to use it is taken away. How is that so hard to understand? We are trying to cultivate a friendly and fun community but when you and others display disrespect and hateful attitudes, you lose your permission.

Freedom is great and should be given/available to every single person on the planet with 1 exception; when the freedom you exhibit is conflicting to someone else's freedom or quality of life. Anything from harassment to murder can fall under that exception.

You're welcome to criticize us (like you have been, for quite a while) and we're welcome to do what we see fit with our system. Just like we ban hackers and stat abusers, we can ban other people that are detrimental to the game environment.

There's really no point in arguing it further and I'd suggest that if you want to keep playing the game, quit stirring up shit that's unnecessary.

Since you're starting with the basic AAOClass files that were created many years ago, they're not complete or perfect by any means. See step 12-17 of Crusade's tutorial on how to fix these errors:
Quote
12:
now pull the dgcrusade.uc into the umake icon on your desktop.

13:
a window will appear and show's you are done.
press the details button

you will see a error
Error in dgcrusade.uc (12): Unrecognized member 'EmptyInventory' in class 'AGP_Pawn'

14:
we need to fix the error
go to C:\UnrealEngine2RuntimeDemo\AGP\Classes\AGP_Pawn.uc

and add this line to the file add the botem
function EmptyInventory();

now pull the AGP_Pawn.uc to the umake icon on your desktop.

see if there are any errors by pressing details

you will see this

Success - 0 error(s), 0 warning(s)

that's good

15:
pull the C:\UnrealEngine2RuntimeDemo\-{DG}-Crusade\Classes\dgcrusade.uc file to the umake icon

you will get a new error

Error in dgcrusade.uc (14): Unrecognized member 'CreateInventoryFromName' in class 'AGP_Pawn'

put this line in the C:\UnrealEngine2RuntimeDemo\AGP\Classes\AGP_Pawn.uc file and pull it to the umake icon on your desktop

function Inventory CreateInventoryFromName(string InventoryClassName, optional bool bIndigenous);

16:
now pull the dgcrusade.uc to the umake icon on the desktop
C:\UnrealEngine2RuntimeDemo\-{DG}-Crusade\Classes\dgcrusade.uc

press details:
Success - 0 error(s), 0 warning(s)

Congratulations. you made your first file.

17:
the file now is in C:\UnrealEngine2RuntimeDemo\System\-{DG}-Crusade.u

you are finished.

Yea, that's the problem. You shouldn't have the "ut2004scripts3369" folder. The contents of it should be in the System folder in Runtime. Same for the AAOClass, in the picture below, you copy the contents from the left into the System folder for your compiling environment:

You would have to setup a FTP server and forward your ports to share files on your computer.

To share them online, use any number of services like Imgur or Dropbox.

All I can imagine is that your folders aren't setup properly. Can you show some screenshots?

I was also told to make a shortcut of UMake on the desktop and to just drop the .uc on that icon.

Is UMake in the System folder?

The ut2004scripts3369 goes in the System folder of the Runtime. Those folders are the .u packages and the files in them are the classes and functions in the .u files.

You might be better off skipping the ut2004 scripts and just going for Runtime + AAOClass and the mods that I PM'd you.

Sounds like you're missing UnrealEngine2Runtime:
http://www.moddb.com/engines/unreal-engine-2/downloads/unrealengine2-runtime

Also, to compile for AA, you'll need something called "AAOClass", see if you can find it on a cheat site. If not, I'm sure I have a copy. This brings in all the functions from AA as empty functions. It allows the code to compile since the referenced functions exist and that's all it checks for.

I moved your post into it's own topic since it had nothing to do with the topic you posted in.

We don't use 2.8.5 and you can't log into 2.8.5 because the devs shut down the authorization servers.

Uninstall everything you have and start fresh:

Well, that escalated quickly.

There is info in the FAQ about this, I just went through it the other day to clean it up. By FAQ, I mean the info on this site:
