Sounds nice and all but I think a lot of Devs aren't game players so they don't think of things like that unless its spoon-fed.

Oh, yea, I totally don't expect to see something like this in games any time soon. Even if it was implemented, people would bitch and moan over a volume control.

Games need to implement WASAPI to bypass the Windows' mixer and play sounds at a set volume and automatically switch between software and hardware modes depending on configuration. With this method the only hacks that people could really do would be with hardware to modify the sounds.

Adjusting game settings to give you better "skill" is lame and artificial skill at best.

I think you all missed that you need an IMDb link.
I think you missed that you need to submit a movie AND IMDB link. Suck it. :)

Yea the HUD is just a texture or two that sits on top at a set position no matter what resolution is used. This whole FOV thing was a problem when aspect ratios changed and now it's a problem again with insanely wide aspect ratios.

I like it. It has more basic shapes but they seem to be more accurate than the other images. Good job :)

Looks awesome. Some things kinda look a bit stretched though.

You of all people should know that's a issue with how cameras are rendered. I'm guessing it's something of placing a sphere on a flat surface kinda thing. I could get more technical but it's pretty much a FOV thing. There's fixes and stretches that can be done but not many game developers anticipate you're going to play with a super wide view :)

I thought this project was dead since nothing had been done for such a long time and ATi had released eyefinity and NVidia is expected to do something about it. Thing is, I was eyeballing ATi cards and they looked tempting due to eyefinity but then I saw the compatibility and it's really nothing better than SoftTH except SoftTH works on any graphics card. Anyway, I'm waiting on parts for my 3rd monitor and this new release has calmed my second thoughts about using 3 monitors and performance costs. I'm definitely excited :)

GTA4 @ 4480x1080 (lets see your console do that):
